United Fly Tyers: Meetings

UFT Meetings are typically held on the first Thursday of each month, September through May, at the Holiday Inn Select, 15 Middlesex Canal Park, in Woburn, MA. Doors open at 6:30 and free fly tying instruction begins at 7pm. Members receive a newsletter each month detailing what pattern (complete with recipe) each instructor plans on tying that meeting. Additionally, members receive a discount on the admission price. Instruction generally lasts until 8-8:15 when the Featured Speaker(s) for the evening, puts on his/her presentation. There is a featured vendor each month offering a wide-range of fly tying tools & materials, as well as a variety of fly fishing essentials . From time-to-time we often have special vendors who provide custom rods, rare and out-of-print fly fishing books, premium fly tying materials, and the like.
